Another group are wheelchairs - for transporting patients in a sitting position and for transporting people of non-standard sizes and weight (bariatric wheelchairs). There are also specialized trolleys, e.g. for washing or bathing patients, which help in performing daily care procedures. All these devices are intended to serve patients and reduce the physical effort of medical staff.
